Hand Drip
Recommended dripper: Kalita Wave Dripper 155

Ratio: Coffee 14g, Water 220g

Grind Size: Medium Fine ~ Medium

Temperature: 100°C

Time: 2:20 ~ 2:40

[Preparation]

1. Boil water.

2. Once you've placed the paper filter in the dripper, rinse it with hot water.

(The purpose of rinsing is to remove the paper odor and warm the equipment. Use approximately 100g to 200g of hot water as a guideline.)

3. Discard the hot water and put the powder into the filter.

【extraction】

0:00 First cast 30g ( steaming )

Gently shake the dripper to ensure the hot water reaches all of the coffee grounds. You can also stir with a spoon.

0:40 2nd throw 70g (Total 100g)

Pour the liquid in a circular motion, drawing a circle about 3 cm in diameter from the center. Try to pour it all within 10 to 12 seconds.

1:10 3rd throw 70g (total 170g)
Pour in 70g using the same method as the second pour.

1:4 0 4 pitch 50g (total 220g)

Pour in all 50g by 1:50. Be careful not to pour too quickly.
If the hot water has completely dripped through in about 2:20 to 2:40, the extraction is successful. If it takes too long for the water to drip through, use a coarser grind; if it's too quick, use a finer grind . The time is just a guideline, so please adjust it to your liking.
